Current Openings

While we are always accepting applications for all instruments, we have an immediate need for string players (violins, cellos, and basses) and oboes to complete our ensemble. Whether you are returning to your instrument after some time away or are looking for a new musical home in the community, we would love to hear from you.

We welcome adult musicians who are willing to work hard, practice diligently, and commit to regular attendance. You may be asked to provide an informal screening video to help determine skill level and facilitate seating assignments.

Take a look at our planned repertoire. If you’d like to take a look at the parts, most of the music we play can be downloaded from www.imslp.org.

We are always looking to add qualified musicians to our sub list. So whatever you play, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our Rehearsals

We rehearse September through early May on Thursday evenings, 7:00 – 9:30 pm.

Currently we are rehearsing at Bloomfield Hills High School, 4200 Andover Rd, Bloomfield Twp, MI 48302.
