Join Us This Summer for Two Fun Evenings of Music!

Spectrum Orchestra invites all adult musicians to participate in our Summer Sight-Reading Sessions. These relaxed, informal rehearsals are a great opportunity to enjoy orchestral music, sharpen reading skills, and meet fellow musicians from the community.

Whether you currently play with the orchestra or simply enjoy making music, you are welcome to attend.

Session #1: Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Session #2: Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Who Can Participate?

These sessions are open to:

• Current orchestra members
• Former members
• Adult community musicians
• Anyone with orchestral playing experience

Strings, woodwinds, and brass players are all encouraged to attend.

What to Expect

Participants will read through a variety of orchestral works in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Music selections may include:

Classical favorites
Pops and light classics
Overtures and symphonic movements
Film and Broadway selections

No auditions are required, and there is no performance pressure — just an enjoyable evening of music-making.

Music selections will be announced at a later date.

What to Bring

Please bring:

• Your instrument
• Music stand
• Pencil
• A copy of the music (download links will be provided)
