The Spectrum Orchestra is a community orchestra serving the greater Detroit Metro area. The group is composed of adult musicians who are interested in preparing and performing quality orchestral music. Our goal is to have fun together, learn, and present quality performances in an open and supportive environment.

The Spectrum Orchestra was organized as a place where intermediate and advanced musicians could find a high-quality place to play challenging music, grow their skills, and be proud of their ability to master and present great music.

Our mission is to enrich the community with quality music.

In February, 2014, the IRS granted Spectrum Orchestra 501(c)3 status, making the organization eligible for receiving tax-deductible charitable contributions.
