From the grandeur of the Renaissance to the heights of the Romantic era, this program celebrates masterworks spanning three centuries. Louise Farrenc’s spirited Overture No. 1 opens the concert, followed by the timeless beauty of Palestrina’s Gloria from the Pope Marcellus Mass. Beethoven’s innovative Triple Concerto showcases three soloists in dazzling collaboration before Brahms’s majestic Symphony No. 4 brings the evening to a powerful and deeply moving conclusion.
